varunkumharParticipantI have the nxserver NoMachine 4.2.22 x86_64 running on Ubuntu 14.04 x86_64. I want to connect to this server from Windows 7, where I have setup the nxclient NoMachine 4.2.22. I am able to login to the server using nxclient and get the home screen. I also see the mouse pointer and I am able to launch the NoMachine preferences using Ctrl+Alt+0. But my mouse is unresponsive to clicks and so is my keyboard to keystrokes.

fra81ModeratorAre you attaching to the physical display of your home machine? Or are you creating a new virtual desktop?
Please gather client and server side logs as explained here: https://www.nomachine.com/AR07K00677.
Send to: forum[at]nomachine[dot]com.

BritgirlKeymasterWe sent you a library a month or so ago to allow us to debug. Since you contacted us we have made further updates, and any new investigation we do will always be on the latest version available, so please update and let us know if you are still having issues. Thanks.

vkjParticipantI am using NoMachine for win7 ver 4.2.26, but it does not take input of the keyboard although mouse is working.

BritgirlKeymaster@vkj, are you able to send us the logs so we can investigate further? It’s important to read the guidelines here on how to extract them:
https://www.nomachine.com/AR07K00677. It’s important to enable logs and reproduce the problem before zipping them up and sending them on.

BritgirlKeymaster@Michalwokcieszek can you explain? Were you having problems and they are now fixed, or are you still having issues with input from keyboard and mouse?

reanrungrochParticipantI am having the same issue. I am using NoMachine for Linux and Win7 (v4.2.26) – connecting from my Win7 to Linux machine. I am able to connect fine but my keyboard and mouse input don’t work.

BritgirlKeymasterTo everyone, please check whether the workaround here has any effect: https://www.nomachine.com/TR04L04396
It could well be that the desktop is hanging. If the workaround doesn’t work, can you contact us for the next steps. We have a debug library available which we can send you along with instructions.
