I’ve been using NoMachine ARM (8.4.2 on RK3399) for a while, it works great.

The only problem is it does not have hardware acceleration from the client-side, even though vainfo says it has H.264 hardware decoders.

Is hardware decoding on ARM platform supported yet?

HW decoding is not currently supported, but it’s planned. Right now we are working on adding support for encoding. Once that’s done and released, we’ll start on the decoder 🙂

Out of interest, what is your device?

    Cool!

I am using PineBookPro, which works great as a NoMachine client (only a little laggy due to the software decoding).

Looking forward to the ARM decoder!
