NoMachine abruptly disconnects user after login

Hello,

One of our users is attempting to connect to NoMachine server, version 7.9.2-3. The initial connection succeeds and, after logging in via the Ubuntu login screen, the connection is abruptly terminated. Future connection attempts fail with the error “No available desktops on this server”, and the machine needs to be rebooted to recover.

If I connect to the same workstation, via NoMachine, I am not disconnected and can login normally, repeatedly.

The logs show that physical desktop sharing is disabled for user djoo.

Try running: sudo /etc/NX/nxserver --useredit djoo --screensharing yes.

Try running: sudo /etc/NX/nxserver –useredit djoo –screensharing yes.

That resolved the issue.
