Nxclient doesn’t recognize ssh symlink

Our corporate environment uses a nonstandard location for the ssh binary with a symlink to /usr/bin/ssh.  nxclient 4.2.24 does not recognize the symlink as an ssh executable and fails asking me to make sure ssh is installed.  If I put the full path to the ssh binary in .nx/config/player.cfg it works but this is tedious since nx is not part of the standard linux image and is installed if need by the user.  Can future versions dereference the path to ssh in the cfg file before testing whether it works?
