    Hello,

I have a two-monitor setup that I’m trying to access remotely with NoMachine. When I log in remotely, I can only see one of the two displays, although I can interact with both (as verified visually while in person at the workstation). The other display comes through as an all-black screen. This happens both when I ask NoMachine to display both screens side by side as well as the bad screen by itself. To be clear, I can still type in and click on applications on the black display, it just takes a bit of guesswork. If I switch which ports the two monitors are plugged into, the issue stays with the monitor, not the port. The two LG monitors are identical, purchased recently and simultaneously, and configured identically as far as I am aware. The issue has persisted across multiple restarts, reinstallation of NoMachine on the remote machine, and total reinstallation of GNOME on the remote machine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time.

Hi, this is a known issue reproduced on where Wayland is runnng, and there is a workaround.

As workaround change the following key in the nomachine node.cfg on the Ubuntu host to:

    WaylandModes drm,compositor,egl

@Britgirl thanks so much! That worked very cleanly, all I had to do was change that line in node.cfg (including the exact order drm, compositor, egl) and restart the server!
