    Hello!

I have a 10Gbit connection between two computers and I would like to see the screen with 0 quality loss and as little latency as possible. I know that disabling multi pass encoding and some other stuff is an option, however given the use case, I’d like to be able to get the video as is, without any encoding. Is this possible?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

this is not possible at the moment. It is something we planned to add, and still on the list, but not with high priority. In fact it has to be considered that a FullHD 60fps uncompressed video will take around 4Gbps, a 4K video will take something like 16Gbps…and this would be too much data for any network.

    Hello.

Glad to hear you’re working on it. Any alternatives in the meanwhile?

Until then, there are no viable alternatives until support for “no-encoding” is possible.

Update 2022: after careful consideration support for “no-encoding” or uncompressed forwarding will not be implemented. Please refer to: https://forums.nomachine.com/topic/uncompressed-option-no-encoding.
