    Hello, Dear NoMachine!

I get strange error message in NXPlayer window when try to connect to a virtual display, that look like:

Error: Cannot connect to the host. Request to connect to ‘10.10.19.225’ was refused.’

When I investigate logs, I found this error messages in connection file:

NX> 726 Asking user for disconnect the current user

NX> 599 Cannot connect to the host. Request to connect to ‘10.10.19.225’ was refused.

NX> 599 Reached the maximum number of concurrent sessions on this server

NX> 500 ERROR: Last operation failed.

    On server side:

    nomachine-enterprise-server-evaluation_4.0.366_2_x86_64.rpm

    ALT Linux 6.0.1 Spt

    xfce 4.8

    On client side:

    nomachine-enterprise-client_4.0.366_1_i686.rpm

    ALT Linux 6.0.1 Spt

    kde 3.5.13.2

It’s fixed by increasing this params:

    DisplayLimit 600

    ConnectionsLimit 600

    Logs from client attached

This has been fixed in 4.0.367 (recently released).

Don’t forget to use the automatic updates to get the changes and let us know that everything worked 😉

    Hello!

I updated to newest version 4.0.368 and tried to reproduce the problem by setting DisplayLimit to “1” in server.cfg and expect that nxplayer show me the error about “not reached for the user” or something else, when I try to connect two users simultaneously.

But two users successfully connected to the server simultaneously.

    Logs and configs attached.

When I set only ConnectionsLimit to “1” and tried to connect simultaneously, all works as expected:

    nxplayer show me:

    The session negotiation failed.

Error: Reached the maximum number of concurrent sessions on this server

So, I think that my first problem is fixed and maybe I found second problem. (or maybe I don’t understand DisplayLimit behavior)

Bug confirmed. A Trouble Report is open (https://www.nomachine.com/TR12K04131). We’ve added a notification facility to all TRs now, so you can receive an email when the fix has been released.
