    Hi,

    I’m trying to access a Pi from my laptop when away from home and I have tried to follow instructions but the UI>Settings>Server Ports shows that NX is not running so I can’t configure it.

    Hi, did you already perform a reboot of the device?

    Can you tell us if the display server is Wayland or Xorg? What distro is installed on it? Which RPi model is it?

    Hi, yes many reboots, i think it is on Xorg as I changed it from Wayland to solve the white screen issue.

    It’s Debian 12 Bookworm, Pi4 B 8Gb

    We have released an update so you should download the latest package for your architecture and try that. You can disable Wayland by doing the following:

    sudo raspi-config
    Advanced Options -> Wayland -> X11 -> OK -> Finish -> Yes (to reboot)

    If you are still encountering the issue, please submit the NoMachine logs from the Raspberry Pi device. You can extract them using the instructions here: https://kb.nomachine.com/DT07S00243

    Send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com. Please use the title of this topic as the subject of your email. Thanks!
