I have installed NoMachine 7.6.2 on Ubuntu 21.04 with Wayland compositor. After the install the physical screen started to blink. When Wayland is enabled I get a lot of these messages:

[  529.567459] input: NoMachine Input Device as /devices/virtual/input/input492
[  529.570196] input: NoMachine Input Device as /devices/virtual/input/input493
[  530.910835] input: NoMachine Input Device as /devices/virtual/input/input494
[  530.914233] input: NoMachine Input Device as /devices/virtual/input/input495
[  532.254151] input: NoMachine Input Device as /devices/virtual/input/input496
[  532.258272] input: NoMachine Input Device as /devices/virtual/input/input497
[  533.615229] input: NoMachine Input Device as /devices/virtual/input/input498
[  533.619244] input: NoMachine Input Device as /devices/virtual/input/input499
[  534.959388] input: NoMachine Input Device as /devices/virtual/input/input500
[  534.962838] input: NoMachine Input Device as /devices/virtual/input/input501

The only solution is to shutdown nxserver.

    sudo /etc/NX/nxserver –shutdown

There is no problem when X11 is enabled. Is there any parameter I should enable to stop preventing this when Wayland is enabled?

Please collect the server logs with sudo /etc/NX/nxserver --debug --collect. Send the created log archive to forum (at) nomachine (dot) com.

It looks you have some application probing display :1001, repeatedly, one time per second. Is it possible?
