I have been working with a user in my organization for some time with their NoMachine software. They are using version 6.11.2 on their remote endpoint as well as the server/desktop. MacOS 10.15.16.

The Issue: Whenever they reboot their machine OR log off of the device without another user logged in they do not have any active connections available and/or the request will time out. It is possible that the services for NoMachine are not restarting properly in spite of the fact that they are set to be automatic and should restart when the device is powered on not when a user logs in.

Any insight or help is appreciated and if logs are required please let me know.

    Hello

This is an ongoing issue for MacOS 10.15.16. There is a known problem on login window where the process responsible for grabbing session is started before the session is
properly initialized. Until there is a new version released it is a possibility to fixing this by logging via ssh and manually restarting the nxserver:

    /etc/NX/nxserver --restart

If this does not help we would need to do some more debugging of this case.
