Is it possible to use cellular data to connect to NoMachine? I am on the road a lot and that’s why I need something remote. Some times all I have is cellular data. Thanks.

There shouldn’t be any problem to connect if you are using a mobile network on the client side. The only condition is that you must have installed NoMachine on the server side and configured to have access to the desktop over the internet (https://www.nomachine.com/AR11L00827).

I triple checked everything. It does not work for me. It also  would  not work  from my  router at work. It is only working local. I get error 60 and error 61.

There are a few things necessary which may be out of your control.

local firewalls, the egress and ingress firewalls, eventually filtering what your provider does.
Here, where I have full control and no filtering active it works fine and dandy.

It even works on my cellular tablet.

error  60 is operation timed out — generally — network

error 61 is connection refused. — generally firewalling

I’m not understanding. So what should I do? I have completely disabled firewall on windows and my router and nothing worked.

Are you using external IP and port to connect?

Please refer to the instructions in “Using NoMachine for remote access to a computer over the internet” (https://www.nomachine.com/getting-started-with-nomachine) to get external IP and port.

Perfect solution for you may also be NoMachine Network feature (https://www.nomachine.com/FR07J02731) which is coming soon.

The issue is that there is a cellular carrier in between that may or may not filter/block things.
    Also see above link.

My cell carrier does not block or filter (else I directly would dismiss them). Same holds for my ISP. And I have a fixed IP address so all is just fine and dandy. I know what to config as I have full control.
