Weird mouse swap (Linux Mint -> Windows 11)

I am left handed and have two computers (desktop Linux Mint 20.3 and notebook Windows 11) whose mouse buttons are swapped.
My main workstation is Linux Mint 20.3 and NoMachine is used to connect to Windows 11 to use. For longer uses I just grab the notebook (Windows 11).
When I connect from Linux to Windows the mouse buttons are not swapped in the remote, although is swapped if I get the notebook mouse and test while still connected. Is there something I can do about?
