    Hello,

I can connect to my server device on my desktop, but not on my laptop. I’m not sure why this is happening. I tried re-installing NoMachine on my laptop. I tried turning off the firewall, but still nothing. I also disabled the hardware encoding.  It doesn’t even load a new screen on my laptop, just a white screen. Please help me figure this out.

The laptop is Windows 11 and the desktop is Windows 10. I don’t think the server is the issue since I can connect fine to it on my desktop.

    Hi,

    please confirm:

    – you can connect from Win 10 to Win 11, there are no problems

    – the problem is that you cannot the other way round, ie. you cannot connect from Win 11 to Win 10

    – you have disabled HW encoding on the Win 11 server

    Hello,

I just can’t connect from one specific device (Windows 11), but I can connect on another (Windows 10). I have disabled HW encoding.

A complete uninstall and reinstall of NoMachine seemed to make it work

Good to know it’s now working. Thanks for letting us know.
