Copy/paste not working

Steps for problem:
1. VM: open any configuration window NoMachine
2. VM: copy text “TEXT_FROM_VM” from “Kate”
3. VM: check cupboard = “TEXT_FROM_VM”
4. HOST: check cupboard = “” — this problem
5. VM: mouse focus to window NoMachine
6. HOST: check cupboard = “TEXT_FROM_VM”

steps for problem:
1: VM: mouse focus window “Kate”
1: HOST: copy text “TEXT_FROM_HOST” from “Kate”
2: HOST: check cupboard = “TEXT_FROM_HOST”
3: VM: check cupboard = “” — this problem
4: VM: open any configuration window NoMachine — remember this fact!
5: HOST: copy text “TEXT_FROM_HOST” from “Kate”
6: VM: check cupboard = “TEXT_FROM_HOST” — work!
7: HOST: copy text “TEXT_FROM_HOST 2” from “Kate”
8: VM: check cupboard = “TEXT_FROM_HOST 2” — stable work!

This problem only this VM
Other VM (with debian-11) no problem

Hi,

sorry for the delay. We have finally reproduced this issue in our labs. Can you confirm that it only occurs when using KDE with Wayland? To check that, you can use X11 option instead of Wayland in the login screen of the problematic VM.
