MacParticipantLatest version, just updated today after having the issue last few months.
Client: Windows 11 – Was using Free version, saw a thread saying Enterprise client would work, same empty list however
Server: MacOS 26.5.2
Local Network
I’m connecting to my M5 Laptop with NoMachine and I’m unable to share any USB devices such as a web camera for video conferencing.
I saw some old threads from years ago showing a missing file under “/Library/Application Support/NoMachine/Extensions/” and saw that I only have nxfuse.kext and nxtun.kext, not a usb one that was talked about in that thread.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, been trying different tweaks and hours troubleshooting it to no change :(. I’ve checked the cfg on the mac and its set for “both” for USB devices.
Hard drives and Printers show up. USB, Network ports and smart readers (none) are all empty.
Audio and Mic work (although I have to re-enable/unmute it each connection… is there another option for this to default enabled?)

klapas1ParticipantHi.
On which exact machine are the devices listed, and on which are they not? Or do both machines fail to list the devices?
Are the devices showing up on the list, but simply cannot be forwarded?
How does the reverse connection behave (when connecting from Mac to Windows)?
Did this work on any previous version? If so, since which version did it stop working?
Did this happen after an update? If so, after which specific update?Have you tried completely reinstalling NoMachine on the machine where forwarding isn’t working? Have you tried forwarding to a different machine?
Please send us the session logs from the player.
Regarding your comment:
“Audio and Mic work (although I have to re-enable/unmute it each connection… is

I don’t see them in the usb devices section. Is there a way to view this before remotely connecting? I’m not sure how to make sure its available from the client side without having a connection to the server already.

The list is empty/ blank

Haven’t tried and now I only have the enterprise client installed since that was a workaround mentioned.

I originally used the client/server version but saw a post saying to use the enterprise client and that could fix the missing devices so unnstalled and installed that client. Same problem though

What’s the proper way to send them and anything sensitive to remove if public facing upload?
We are aware of this issue and are currently working on a fix.
Great thanks!
