    IPs that get banned from both of those filters end up in fail2ban.log I am worried that if someone like me uses the recidive filter, nxd could potentially trigger it to ban an IP for a very long time, I guess the 5 seconds findtime and 20 retries will stop it from doing that.

    Wow well that’s way outside my budget range. I wouldn’t mind paying a small price since I use NoMachine a lot but for personal use (using it to connect to my university pc) that is way too much.

    That’s not what I meant. Let me try again.

    You, user1, are sitting in front of the computer logged in to “Britgirl” account. I, user2, connect to the computer remotely to “Loke” account.

    I tried it and it just connected me to the already running user1 account. Would this be possible via the virtual desktops and what not?
