    Hello,

I’m running NoMachine 9.6.3 on both my Windows 11 desktop PC and my Linux Mint Cinnamon laptop.  When I connect to the laptop from my desktop, the ALT-TAB keyboard gesture is not passed to the remote session even though I have NoMachine configured to grab the keyboard input.

I remember it working correctly in previous versions of NoMachine, though.

    Thanks,

    Dave F.

Hi, we are not able to reproduce. Alt+Tab works when there is grab keyboard enabled from Win11 to Linux Mint 22 with Cinnamon desktop. Can you update to 9.7 and report back? If you are still encountering the issue, logs could be useful (from both sides) after having reproduced the behaviour. You can extract them using the instructions here: https://kb.nomachine.com/DT08U00298
You can attach them here or send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com. Please use the title of this topic as the subject of your email. Thanks!

Also, can you describe exactly what happens if the “grab the keyboard” option is selected. Does Alt+Tab starts on Windows? Does the Alt+Tab key sequence work on the Mint host as it should?

I’m running version 9.7.3 and still seeing the issue.  The “grab the keyboard” option was already selected.  Alt-Tab does not start on Windows.  The behavior I see inside Linux depends on the active application.  If Firefox is active, for example, it acts as if I just pressed Alt, not Alt-Tab, and toggles the menu bar.

I’ve generated and attached the logs as requested.  I have the logs from both the client and the server.
