    Folks,

I have an issue similar to another recent thread on the forum.

At work, I have a Kubuntu 22.04.4 box with two 2560 x 1600 displays attached.  This machine is running NoMachine Enterprise Linux Desktop, 8.11.3 which I have a subscription for.

At home, I have a Kubuntu 24.04.1 box, also with two 2560 x 1600 displays attached.  This machine is running NoMachine 8.13.1, I think the free NoMachine product, but I’m not sure.  It could be one of the client-only products.

I would like to connect to my work machine from home, and view my two work displays, both in full screen, on my two identical displays at home.  But when I connect and go to the Display settings, there is no “Fullscreen on all monitors” option shown.  (Under “Select remote display” I have selected “ALL”.)

A while back, I set a setting on the server (the work machine) to disable the ability of the client to change the display configuration on the server. (I set PhysicalDesktopMode to 1 in /usr/NX/etc/server.cfg.)  Not sure if that is relevant.

How do I get the “Fullscreen on all monitors” option to appear?

    Thank you in advance,

    Adam

Indeed this looks similar to https://forum.nomachine.com/topic/no-fullscreen-across-all-monitors-option-for-dual-screen-setup

Can you send us the output of the xrandr command on the Kubuntu machine?

You have the same overlapping issue like in the other topic mentioned above. To fix the overlap you can move the second screen to not overlap the other. For example, arandr will let you do this.

OK, yes, that seems to have fixed it!  Thank you so much!
