Would there happen to be any meaning behind the system tray icon color? This may (vaguely) relate to my previous forum post, and subsequent ticket, about losing audio streaming capability from a Linux host. On all other platforms, the NX system tray icon is red. On an earlier 4.0 build of Linux, the tray icon in KDE also was red. However, ever since I lost audio streaming, the tray icon has always been black. I’m wondering if there’s any correlation, like the icon would be black if NX can’t init all services or such?

This is under KDE, NX Free v4.0.366, on KUbuntu 13.10 and OpenSUSE 13.1

Hi, there is no correlation between audio not working and the colour of the monitor icon. The colour was changed to black because many found red too alarming.

We’ll follow up on your other topic about audio, so we don’t confuse threads.

Not a problem. Just curious if there happened to be correlation. Thanks!
