Hello,
I’ve got two weird issues with NoMachine and I would be very thankful if anyone could give me any recommendations.Issue No 1.
I’m experiencing artifacts on the screen when I work in NoMachine session being connected to remote PC with dual monitors (check attached screen).
Scenario details:
I’ve got one Windows 10 PC with dual monitors in one location (say, home PC) and one Windows 10 PC with dual monitors in another location (say, office PC). Home PC is connected to office PC through L2TP tunnel so traffic is routed through the Internet. Bandwidth is around 100 Mbps. My goal is to be able to use dual monitors on home PC and stream output from both office PC’s monitors into my home PC’s monitors. If i use dual monitors I can see artifacts on the bottom of my screen on the Windows taskbar. However if I configure office PC with only one monitor i don’t see any artifacts at all. I’ve tried to play with different display settings in NoMachine and use all protocols (H264, VP8, MPEG) but no luck. Has anyone faced similar issue?Issue No 2.
In NoMachine session if i hold Alt and use scroll on my mouse I’ve got reverse scrolling. Is it bug or feature?Thank you in advance

Try also to turn off “Use acceleration fro display processing” (server restart required): https://www.nomachine.com/AR02L00782
For the issue #2: could you tell me in which application you see that reverse scrolling?

thank you for your reply
I’ll give a test with different encoder types with disabled “Use acceleration for display processing” option
Speaking of issue #2
Reversed scrolling is manifested for example in Houdini and Maya software

first of all thank you for your tip regarding artifacts! It’s working great now on vp8 codec with “Use acceleration for display processing” option disabled and I can’t see any artifacts anymore.
Regarding Alt+mouse wheel functionality. Is there any way to disable Alt+mouse wheel functionality in Nomachine not to face horizontal scrolling?
March 31, 2020 at 15:33 #26392graywolfParticipantGlad to know you sorted it out. About Alt+Wheel, I’m afraid there isn’t any way to disable it, sorry.
April 1, 2020 at 11:02 #26395paul_vParticipantDo you know maybe if there are any plans to add some option into NoMachine interface that will allow to disable/enable this functionality in next releases?
April 1, 2020 at 11:19 #26411graywolfParticipantThere is no plan to make it optional. Would you tell me why do you need to disable it? How does it impact on your workflow?
April 1, 2020 at 11:41 #26416paul_vParticipantNo worries, it’s minor issue and I think I can cope with it
Thank you again for your tips and help
Have a good day
