Asking to save key in connection file results in ‘Public key not recognized’

A new little bug for me.

I have key access set up and it works fine

BUT

In the player if I set up key-based and check “Import … connection file” then upon connection authentication fails and the the server log says ‘Public key not recognized’

but if I then go back and uncheck it then all is fine the key is recognized and authentication is good and session starts.

Running 8.3.1 on both machines. (linux, debian and ubuntu)
