Attach to custom session on localhost?

While at work, I like to use a custom session from my Mac rather than a full-on desktop. This way I can manage windows along side the rest of my mac-hosted windows. This gives me the ability to reattach when at home as well (where doing full-desktop rendering can be painfully slow over the vpn).

Sometimes I prefer to work directly on my linux box while at work…. is the best way to do this to install a linux client on my desktop to connect to the custom session? Wondering if there is a more performant way to do that.

Yes, you should use Player installed on your server to connect to custom session on localhost. Player is a part of Server installation so you should have it already installed.
