I have the following setup:
1. Host machine on which I run Windows 7 and NoMachine.
2. Client machine with Windows 8.1 and NoMachine. Client runs VMWare Player, which hosts Ubuntu.
From the host machine (1), I interact with Ubuntu on (2). Everything’s fine except for a black box underneath the mouse pointer (see attached pic). Is there anyway to get rid of this black box, because it makes mouse-based operations slightly harder to perform (e.g. text selection)? I’ve tried changing display qualities, including disabling network-adaptive display, multi-pass encoding, and client-side image post-processing.
