Black screen connecting to NX Server on Linux from Mac

I connect successfully from a Mac client to a Fedora server with physical display, but get a blank (black) screen every time. I have tried instructions from https://forums.nomachine.com/topic/black-screen-connecting-to-nx-server-on-linux-from-mac with no success.

The server logs are attached. I am using Mac OSX Sierra 10.12.6 with NoMachine client 6.0.78, and Fedora Release 25 x86_64 with NoMachine server 6.0.78

I see in the logs that the Wayland display manager is enabled on your system.

We are actively working on Wayland support. You can be notified when it will be released by applying in the relevant Feature Request:

In the same link, you can find a possible workaround.
