Upon installation of nomachine_8.16.1_1_x64 on a Win11Pro machine running version 24H2 (OS Build 26100.3476), the BT5.0 adapter Asus BT-500 stopped working. The host is a personal PC on a home LAN. Referring to the attached screen shots, they include images from Device Manager showing the BT adapter offline, instances of Event ID 10016 in the Windows System event log (suggesting a permissions issue), and NoMachine software settings.
Referring to the KB article “Cannot disable services by means of checkbox” ‘Share the devices of this server’ “, the individual device type check boxes were CLEARED and these changes were successfully saved, persisting after rebooting or using “Restart the Server”. However, the BT adapter remained offline even after the tick boxes for all five device types have been cleared as well as that for “Enable audio streaming and microphone forwarding”.
In my case, disabling all device types listed on the NoMachine “Server devices” page is entirely acceptable. Do you have any suggestions on resolving this apparent conflict between NoMachine and my BT adapter?
