myakoobParticipantI iinstalled No machine 4 on my Linux. Install goes fine.
X> 701 Updating: nxserver version: 4.0.360.
NX> 701 Using installation profile: Red Hat.
NX> 701 Update log is: /usr/NX/var/log/nxupdate.log.
NX> 701 Saving configuration file to: /usr/NX/etc/server.cfg.backup.
NX> 701 Creating configuration in: /usr/NX/etc/server.cfg.
NX> 701 Update completed at: Mon Oct 28 15:47:49 2013.
NX> 701 NoMachine was configured to run the following service:
NX> 701 NX service on port: 4000I am connecting to NoMachine 4 on linux from my windows nxclient 3.5.
After going through configuration wizard, the connection fails with error message :
The NX service is not available or the NX server access was disabled on host.
when i click on details, it gives me info :
NX> 203 NXSSH running with pid: 7680
NX> 285 Enabling check on switch command
NX> 285 Enabling skip of SSH config files
NX> 285 Setting the preferred NX options
NX> 200 Connected to address: 10.141.152.164 on port: 22
NX> 202 Authenticating user: nx
NX> 208 Using auth method: publickey
NX> 204 Authentication failed.NEVER had this issue when i was using nxclient, nxnode, nxserver 3.5

sil04ParticipantNX client 3.5.0 uses SSH protocol, which is not supported by NoMachine free.
You can upgrade your client to version 4 and connect by NX protocol.
The NoMachine Enterprise Client is available for download here:
http://www.nomachine.com/download-enterprise
Anyway, there is also the possibility to tunnel the NX protocol into a SSH connection:

On Windows 7 Machine, i download the NoMachine Enterprise Client from here:

Do you have a link to a tutorial or a detailed list of instructions on how to connect from Windows 7 Client to Linux Server for a remote desktop connection ?

You can install NoMachine on the Linux Redhat 5.9 Server, what software do i need to install.
On Windows 7 it’s ok that you installed NoMachine Enterprise Client.
From your Windows PC, run the NoMachine GUI from the programs menu. Then create a new connection to the Linux Redhat 5.9 Server.
The fastest way to create a new connection is to write the name or IP of the NoMachine host you want to connect to in the text field and click on the lightning icon. This method will use the default NX protocol on port 4000.
