Hi, new NoMachine user here. I use both Windows and Linux (Ubuntu,) but am first trying to just get a Win-to-Win connection set up
Due to my particular setup, the machines I’m connecting to are not configured with passwords. They are set up to start and log on automatically on power and I would like to use an RSA keypair for authentication.
I added my public key to the authorized.crt file as per instructions, but when using the associated private key I just get “Authentication failed for user ____”
Using the free version. Remote and local OSes are both Windows 10.
Thoughts?
Are you sure that you are connecting to correct user? Public key should be added to .nx/config folder on that user home directory, on server side. Please also check if it’s correct public key. Have you used that instructions https://www.nomachine.com/AR02L00785?
