Hi –
I get the following message whenever I try to connect to my windows machine from any other machine: “Cannot create session directory: C:\ProgramData\NoMachine\var\log\node\C-WUSPL186023-PDX-1002-[different Hex characters each time]\scripts”. I’m attaching a screenshot in case that helps.
This is a new install, so I’ve never had it work properly on this machine. However I am able to connect *from* this machine to a Mac without issue. I get another error that sound permission-related whenever I restart the machine or service: “NX client could not create the NX directory .Please check for the home’s permission.” Again, I’m attaching a screenshot.
Both of these issues sound like they are permissions related. What permissions do I need to check/set?
My environment:
– Windows 7 64-bit
– NoMachine 4.6.12_1 (Free)
– Logged on to my machine as a domain user
