Cannot login to SLES15.4 server

I have made a test installation on 2 SLES 15.4 servers. On the first server, I could login and see the remote desktop, on the second one, I could not login, I copied the server.cfg file from the working server to the other, but that does not help.

The content of the connection protocol and the content of the session protocol is (moved to attachment due to length)

So it looks like the client could not start a gnome session there, but I found no switches in the server cfg file concerning that problem.

We try to connect from a w10 machine to a SLES 15 server (gnome desktop). It´s a physical machine and we use the latest version of nomachine (8.4.2)

Is Wayland running there or is it X.org? And on the server you can connect to, is it exactly the same desktop environment and display server?

Logs would be useful from the server.

In a terminal run nxserver --enable all, nxserver --restart, reproduce, nxserver --collect, and then send the logs by email to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com making sure to use the title of this topic as the subject of your email.

Hello Britgirl,

gnome and x.org is running on that server, the installation is quite similar, the same release, same patchlevel. Now I have deinstalled NoMachine and I have also deleted the /usr/nx folder and then I reinstall it and now it works. I am not sure if have used the right NoMachine version (free one or a demo installation). I will try it again on a different server. Thank you for your help.
