My target remote machine is running Windows 7 Professional, and I login to that machine with a domain account. NoMachine version 5.1.24 (free). I cannot properly connect to this computer with NoMachine if the computer is locked when the connection is initiated.
- If I attempt to connect NoMachine while it is locked (the press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to unlock screen), I see only white in the NoMachine window. In this situation, if I send ctrl+alt+delete through the NoMachine menus, the target system does receive it and advance to password entry (on the physical display). However, after doing this, the NoMachine window still shows only white, and I cannot enter my password to log in
- If while connected in this “white screen” situation, I unlock the target computer with its physical keyboard, the NoMachine window properly updates and shows the desktop after the unlock.
- If the target machine locks while NoMachine is already connected, the NoMachine window properly displays the lock screen and responds to my input.
It seems like NoMachine is not properly capturing the winlogon display when it is active upon connection
