    Hi there!

I created a new issue on Godot’s issue tracker, but it may well be a NoMachine issue, hence this blog post.

    Here’s the link: https://github.com/godotengine/godot/issues/91839

Just to summarize, middle mouse drag does work on Firefox, but doesn’t on the Godot Editor, which severely impacts my ability to develop the program remotely on my new Mac mini.

I tested connecting using [removed] with macOS builtin remote screen access, and middle mouse dragging worked flawlessly.

A video and more details are available following the link above.

Thank you! Great software by the way.

Hi adam, I’ve checked that link to the bug report, am I right in understanding that there will be a fix in the Godot application for this issue you reported?

    Hi!

There will be a fix for Godot, but the thing is that it’s more a workaround than a real fix. Even the fix title mentions it: “[macOS]Add workaround for incomplete drag events sent by some remote desktop apps.”
    https://github.com/godotengine/godot/pull/91848
It seems that NoMachine sends incomplete drag events.

We have a Trouble Report open for this issue which you can monitor using this link: https://www.nomachine.com/TR05V11150. A fix will be released in the next maintenance, NoMachine 8.12.

Please update to 8.12 which includes a fix for the TR we linked.
