I can’t make any changes to the server settings – I get “Authentication failed, please try again”.
Also, the installation failed to find my external IP address, which has never been a problem with NoMachine before.
I installed NoMachine 8.2.3 on Fedora 37 running kernel 6.0.18 and Gnome 43.2 (X11).
The nxserver.log file has 115 instances of “Features/Features: WARNING! Assuming kernel version 5 compatibility.” and 1 of “Warning: ALREADY_ENABLED: ‘5353:udp’ already in ‘public’”.
nxinstall.log has 3 warnings:
- 700 Result: Warning: SELinux userspace will refer to the module from /usr/NX/scripts/selinux/fedora25/nx-unconfined.pp as nx rather than nx-unconfined
- 700 Removed key: FileTransferWarning.
- 700 Removed key: FileTransferWarningSize.
There were no reported errors.
I haven’t yet tried to connect to a remote machine.
Thanks,
Fred
