Hi, folks. I’m running NoMachine 6.2.4 on Pop!_OS on a System76 Meerkat 3. I’m trying to connect from a MacBook Air running Mac OS 10.13.5.

I’ve been trying various things to make this work when I don’t have a physical monitor connected to the Meerkat. I’ve tried disabling Wayland. I’ve tried xserver-xorg-video-dummy. The nice folks at System76 are trying to help, but so far, nothing has worked, so I need your help.

I’m perfectly happy trying everything, even if I think I’ve already tried it. 🙂

I already have logs from my most recent attempt, following the instructions at https://www.nomachine.com/DT07M00098

I’m in your hands. Please help.

    Thanks.

I suggest you try turning off gdm (sudo service gdm stop) and restart NoMachine (sudo /usr/NX/bin/nxserver –restart).

In that case NoMachine launches its own virtual display that is able to resize to any resolution.
