Hi,
Basically after launching game called Blade and Soul, the windows does not take any input of keyboard or mouse, only middle mouse button is working. Any1 else maybe utilizing the same thing? Any ideas what can cause this or any solution?
I can send CTRL ALT DELETE command which brings the taskmanager but this is no use.
January 12, 2023 at 12:44 #42434BritgirlKeymasterHi,
please clarify:
what OS version do you have on the client and on the server side?
what NoMachine products and version do you have installed both sides?
Thanks.
January 12, 2023 at 14:09 #42437MantelisParticipantHi,
NoMachine version 8.2.3 Windows on both PCs-
Windows version: 21H2 OS build 19044.2364
I remember this being actual with older versions of Windows and NoMachine versions.
I think that the game puts some sort of overlay which prevents the game interaction over the remote connection ( I mean I dont know how these button of keyboard and mouse actions are generated, but this seems to prevent it)
so I am wonder if anyone else had same issue and has a solution to overcome it.
Maybe some of the devs can reproduce this and comment?
January 20, 2023 at 17:01 #42605BritgirlKeymasterWe reproduced it 🙂
Here is the link to the Trouble Report: https://kb.nomachine.com/TR01U10748The workaround is to enter the connection menu Ctrl-Alt-0 and add from there.
1. Forwarding mouse and keyboard from client side:
session settings -> devices -> connect a USB device -> forward local mouse and keyboard
2. Activating remote cursor:
session settings -> input -> keyboard and mouse -> check option “always show remote cursor pointer”

This is amazing, this is a game changer, thank you a lot!.
But I am having this error:
Failed to connect the device ‘Razer DeathStalker’.
Also, this means that I have to have a keyboard and mouse to successfully control the PC?
I am also struggling to understand who is the client here, is it the PC I am connecting to?
January 22, 2023 at 22:45 #42618MantelisParticipantHi,
I figured this out. Yes, this seems to work, but then I cant control the host 😀
Is it recommended like to forward like 2nd set of keyboard/mouse to the client?
January 25, 2023 at 07:13 #42693Giorgi-G.ContributorHi,
You0re right. As you “forwarded” your mouse and kb to the remote machine (server machine), you won’t be able to use it on your client machine (the one you are connected from).
So to use this workaround, you will need a second set of KB and a mouse.
January 30, 2023 at 11:33 #42743MantelisParticipantHi,
Thank you.
I have some issues with this workaround. Sometimes when I connect to the remote PC and try to connect KB and Mouse, it shows as connected, but there is no recognition (as it was not connected). Or it works for first time, when I connect, then after some time when I am done doing stuff I disconnect from the remote PC and reconnect after some time and it shows that KB and Mouse is connected but it does not recognize to inputs.
I also got this Blue screen I think, since I did not see what happen to remote PC, just lost connection.
On Sun 1/29/2023 3:54:02 PM your computer crashed or a problem was reported
crash dump file: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP
This was probably caused by the following module: win32kfull.sys (win32kfull+0x4C167)
Bugcheck code: 0x139 (0x3, 0xFFFFED0A94FB72E0, 0xFFFFED0A94FB7238, 0x0)
Error: KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\win32kfull.sys
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: Full/Desktop Win32k Kernel Driver
Bug check description: The kernel has detected the corruption of a critical data structure.
The crash took place in a Microsoft module. Your system configuration may be incorrect. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver on your system that cannot be identified at this time. When it works its very cool, when it doesnt, I cant interact with PC at all. Even if I try to disconnect a Mouse from host and put it in Remote PC, there is no recognition, like all USB stuff would freeze.
My question is, how will it work once the issue is addressed in the new version of NoMachine? Will it work simply as any other inputs, when you do not forward the KB & Mouse?
January 30, 2023 at 21:34 #42771Giorgi-G.ContributorHi,
When the TR is fixed, inputs will be automatically captured and forwarded to the remote device without a need to forward the keyboard/mouse as a USB device.
The issue with the blue screen doesn’t seem to be caused by NoMachine USB forwarding, hovewer you can send us the Memory dump, and we can investigate it.
The system restart should fix the issue with the device being forwarded but unavailable on the remote machine.
