Can’t type via NoMachine?

Hi, I’m using NoMachine on my (Samsung Galaxy tab S6) android tablet to connect to my laptop (Windows 10 home, build 10.0.18362  system type: x64) remotely.

When connected, I try to type but most of my key-presses don’t register at all.

For example, typing through my tablet, “the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog becomes”:

t qu rwn x p v  zy

or

qukrownxjmp v  zy

I’ve tried several keyboards and the only one which works is the on-screen android keyboard. Does anyone know what’s going on?

I’d really appreciate any help on this.

NoMachine (free) version on:

Android tablet: 6.1.9

Windows laptop: 6.11.2

Hi. We had a similar report recently, we’re investigating it. Can you confirm whether you’re using a hardware keyboard connected to the tablet?
