I am evaluating the cloud server version 4.23.23-5 on a RHEL 6.4 system.

There are two issues when using virtual desktops via web browsers running on remote systems (also RHEL based):

    1. The full-screen mode is exited by the ESCAPE key.  This causes problems with applications that want to use the ESCAPE key (ie, the vi editor).  Is this configurable?

    2.  A middle mouse button Xwindow copy and paste will exit the virtual session but works properly when connecting to a physical display session.  This happens consistently with firefox 26 and never with Chrome browser.

Point 2 isn’t clear, can you explain what isn’t working correctly? Our developers are investigating point 1 in the meantime.

About point 1, unfortunately that is not configurable, but you can use a alternative way to enable fullscreen mode, like pressing F11 or using the browser’s menu. In that case you can continue using the Escape key in the session.

On point 2, the combination of Firefox and virtual sessions is a problem with the Xwindow middle mouse button paste.

Using the same Firefox with a connection to the physical desktop on the same machine is not a problem, and using chrome with either the virtual or physical desktop is also fine.

For other reasons, we are not evaluating the cloud server any longer, but thanks for the update.
