    Hi,

    I’m a new user.

I’m using a free version of NoMachine client on both mac/windows. I’m trying to connect from windows to mac which works ok.

My question is, when someone is actually locally connected to the mac desktop (behind mac) and I try to connect from windows (remote) we both see the same desktop. Can I (as remote user) connect to a separate desktop? is such a thing possible?

    Thanks

This is what you can do with NoMachine:

It’s not possible to connect to multiple (different) accounts at the same time. You can do that with the terminal server versions for Linux. E.g I use the Workstation.

    thanks for reply gmai

I like the performance of the NoMachine and the fact that it is free. But since concurrency is the requirement unfortunately I have to go with a VNC client for this

    thanks again

NoMachine doesn’t currently support virtual sessions on Mac. On Linux, yes. There are things that are trivial to do on Linux that are not as easy on OSX, especially when you are dealing with an OS where what you can do and what you cannot do is written in the EULA.
