mauriceParticipantDear all
I’ve been trying NX on Android using a Samsung Galaxy S2 model GT-I9100P under Android 4.0.3
I could not retrieve the application from the Play Store so I downloaded it from the NoMachine web site and installed it manually
I was then trying to access an Ubuntu Cloud Server and it fails with the following error in the nxserver log file
2015-01-16 17:22:30 502.554 3747 NXSERVER User ‘tempo’ logged in from ‘10.0.0.178’.
2015-01-16 17:23:17 603.400 3747 NXSERVER WARNING! Could not find local node for local session ”.
2015-01-16 17:23:17 608.029 3747 NXSERVER WARNING! Cannot write to FD#12.
2015-01-16 17:23:17 608.122 3747 NXSERVER WARNING! Error is: 32, ‘Broken pipe’.
2015-01-16 17:23:17 619.703 3747 NXSERVER User ‘tempo’ from ‘10.0.0.178’ logged out.The first line appears right away, I can connect to the Ubuntu Server bu then after a while something fails
Any help is appreciated
Regards
Maurice

HavenParticipantHello maurice,
We will need debug NoMachine server logs to investigate further. Please follow the instructions here:

Send them to issues[at]nomachine[dot]comJanuary 22, 2015 at 09:13 #6008

HavenParticipantHello Maurice,
Thank you for your logs. Unfortunately I did not find where exactly issues is.To investigate further, the nxagent directory is required. Please go back to
previous debug logs request and before reproducing the issue make sure that
key ‘SessionLogClean’ is set to 0 in node.cfg. In your <home directory>/.nx/
directory will appear directories with name beginning with: T-C-.Than please send full set of logs to issues[at]nomachine[dot]com again.

HavenParticipantHello Maurice,
Thank you for your logs. We found that we the problem lies with
connecting NX application directly to session display. We need
NX application working directory to investigate further. The logs are stored in /sdcard/.nx directory. Extracting logs
mostly depends from tools installed on the device. You can enter
in the last R- directory under /sdcard/.nx and for example share
the files, or compress the directory and share the archiveMarch 4, 2015 at 15:49 #6513
BritgirlKeymasterSeems to be an Android problem, fixed in Android 4.1, which caused problems for us. The best solution would be to update Android. We are checking to see if a workaround is possible.
