    Hello!

I am connecting from one Mac to another. When I connect to the Mac in question, the screen resolution is incorrect. I go to display, and change settings, and increase the resolution to what I want. This is all fine.

If I don’t use the NoMachine window for a certain amount of time, the resolution will reset to the old setting. The connection hasn’t dropped, the window is still showing the screen. But it will reset to the old resolution, and I have to manually change it again.

Viewport mode is enabled, custom resolution is not enabled. Ask the desktop resolution is unchecked, but the issue occurs when it is checked as well.

Both machines are on 8.4.2. Any help is appreciated!

What could be happening is that the session is disconnecting and reconnecting (automatic reconnection enabled) without you noticing, and when NoMachine disconnects, the original resolution is restored (this is the correct behaviour). NoMachine does not automatically change the resolution upon reconnection. So, if you’ve enabled “Resize remote” once the session starts, later on the session for whatever reason disconnects, then the original resolution is restored, after which NoMachine reconnects automatically, you’ll find that you have to manually change it again.
