    Good morning,

After recently having updated my virtually hosted Mac (hosted on HostMyApple) to macOS 13 Ventura, my NoMachine fails to connect to my Mac. I’m trying to connect on a Windows 10 desktop running NoMachine version 8.8.1. The Server Settings show that the server is up and running. The Mac is running NoMachine version 7.6.2.

    The error I’m getting is:

A connection timeout has occurred while trying to connect to ‘{IP}’ on port ‘4000’. The issue could either be caused by a networking problem, by a firewall or NAT blocking incoming traffic or by a wrong server address. Please verify your configuration and try again.

Seeing how just yesterday my connection was working fine, I assume that all of the configuration is correct. I did however have to clean up my Mac device for more storage for the update. Could the drive being (almost) full have any impact on connecting to my device? My colleague has also set up a NoMachine instance to attempt to connect to the Mac from his PC, with no success.

I’ve included the logs inside of the attachments

    Hi Alexis,
can you update NoMachine to the latest version on macOS?
Or you can uninstall version 7 and install version 8.
If you still can’t connect, collect logs according to this link
https://kb.nomachine.com/DT07S00244 and send them to us.

An almost full disk should not affect the operation of NoMachine, unless the system itself has a problem with it or log files can no longer be saved by NoMachine.
Maybe you deleted something necessary for NoMachine to run when you tried to wipe the disk?
I understand that after a failed system update, the machine was not restored from a snapshot or a backup?

    Regards,
    Tom
