Hello,
I am having problems connecting from my home Windows computer to an Ubuntu computer at my university. After connecting a few times with no problems, I then come to connect again and get a connection timeout error:
A connection timeout has occurred while trying to connect to ‘132.68.58.21’ on port ‘4000’. The issue could either be caused by a networking problem, by a firewall or NAT blocking incoming traffic or by a wrong server address. Please verify your configuration and try again.
This is a recurring problem. Sometimes restarting the host computer solves the problem, but then after some time, it happens again.
The logs I get (on the client side):

Can you also send us logs from the server-side, please?
You can see the following article for guidance: Collect server and client logs manually
Please send as an attachment to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com making sure you use the title of the topic in the subject of your email. Thanks!February 16, 2021 at 07:52 #31982BritgirlKeymasterErans, can you tell us which university’s facilities you are connecting to and have you asked your administrator for further assistance if this is a set-up arranged for your faculty?
