Copy/paste between client and server inconsistent

What the title says. Copying from the client using Ctrl+C or context menu and then pasting into the server doesn’t work consistently. Usually I try it once and it doesn’t work (it will paste whatever I had on the clipboard previously) and then I switch back to the client again, copy again, switch back to the server again and then it works the second time. Very frustrating. Any ideas?

Please confirm:

– are you using Ubuntu 18.04 (taken from your other topic)?

– OS and version on the connecting client

– Application(s) that you are trying to copy from and paste to

There is a Trouble Report open regarding copy and paste on Wayland. This might be your case.

– Yes, Ubuntu 18.04 with KDE Plasma desktop

– The client is MacOS Mojave 10.14.6

– It seems to be any application. I haven’t noticed a particular pattern.

The best thing to do is to sign up to the ‘notify me’ to know when a fix has been released.
