It would be beyond helpful if it were possible to copy/paste screenshots between client and server. Daily I use a Windows client to access a Mac instance and it’s so annoying to have to save the image to disk, xfer it, then clean up both files when I just want to send a screenshot to Apple Notes or Messages from Window host (browser or whatever).

    Hi,

thanks for your suggestion. Indeed it’s not currently possible to copy and paste non-text. At the moment, what you can do is either use drag and drop (drag from any folder whichever side will drop the file on the desktop), or the file transfer tool from the NoMachine icon in the system tray. The downside, as you wrote, is you have to have the image physically on the system to be able to transfer it and then you have to remove it by hand. Good news is that we are re-evaluating adding support for copy/paste of content such as images, with the possibility of adding it in an upcoming version. Current development priorities mean that it’s not something for an imminent version, but we’ve taken note of your request 😉

@Britgirl thanks for the reply! I would gladly pay for this feature. Any update on when it might be added? Thanks!

Hi, version 9 has the priority right now which includes the new Network feature so resources are taken up with that. It’s likely that it can be added for inclusion in a minor of version 9. We’ve already got a number of features requests lined up for releases after the initial 9 and yours is one of them 😉

Also seems it is possible to drag’n drop files, but not whole folders isn’t it?

    Thanks

Zip the file and then drag it.
