Could not connect to the server. Error is 22: Invalid argument

I checked my remote computer that the NX server is enabled:

Thank you for your quick reply. You are right I haven’t set my proxy.

However, after I enabled the auto-proxy discovery(Mac OS), I still encountered the error (see attachment).
My remote computer is Ubuntu.

Hi, is this problem solved?

I also had this same problem. My situation is NoMachine with zerotier, this error 22 occurred when I enable  proxy no matter I chose “use system configuration“ nor “automatic configuration” even the LAN connection would show this error message, but if I uncheck the proxy, every connection is normal.

Hi. The error printed by the client is misleading, it should have stated clearly that there is a problem with the proxy configuration. We’ve documented this wrong error reporting here:

As for the reason why the proxy configuration is wrong, this is not clear yet. Can you try to select “Use system proxy setting” instead of “Automatic proxy configuration”? Is your system actually configured to use a proxy?
If you’re not sure about it but you know proxy parameters, you can select the manual configuration and fill it with the correct proxy host and port.
