rob8861ParticipantBy the way, I have tested it on two different macs. one is a mac mini and the other one is mac book pro.
Both produce the same results.

graywolfParticipantIt looks the display server failed to start. In /Library/Application Support/NoMachine/var/log/node you should find many folders F-C-… Can you send them along with the whole folder /Library/Application Support/NoMachine/var/log/ ?

rob8861Participantby the way, I tried installing 5.1.22 on both my PC and my Mac but still ctrl + drag is not working.

graywolfParticipantYou need to add DisplayServerExtraOptions “-oldeventapi 0” in 5.1.22 too. Option it isn’t active by default.

I finally got it to work. Not sure why it didn’t work in 5.1.16 but in 5.1.22 it works.
I am able to ctrl+drag with the blue line and drag scenes around in the story board. So far everything seems to be working as expected.
question:
is this going to make it into the next stable release? or will I always have to enable this option in the node.cfg ?
Thanks,

graywolfParticipantYou have to add that option for now. As the old input model is going to become obsolete the new one will be enabled by default in the future but I cannot in which release it will be added permanently.

npnParticipantAre there any other tricks needed to get this to work? I too have been having this issue for sometime, but have been working around it by using a directly connected mouse when I need to.
I already have the DisplayServerExtraOptions “-oldeventapi 0” setting as a fix for my keychain issue.
In general Xcode and NoMachine just don’t total get along. I have had other issues as well that I have been working around.
I have the above issues as well as the storyboard dragging issue.
I am currently running 5.1.26 on both the server and the clients I have tried, (Windows 10 and ubuntu 14.04). OSX 10.11.4, and Xcode 7.3.

graywolfParticipantHello npn
“-oldeventapi 0” is enough to workaround the issue in topic as I know it. May you capture a video – locally to the host where you run Xcode – showing how things are supposed to work? You can send the video to forum (at) nomachine (dot) com.
