    Client Windows 7.

    Server Linux RedHat 6.9

NX versions, Free latest versions from the website

After entering the login credentials in NX, I am then presented with the user login screen in Linux.  I have to enter the same details again to access the server.  While this works it is annoying having the double login.  If I try and use a different login on the linux screen, NX prompts me to accept the connection on the server.  This requires someone to be on the server accepting the connection, which defeats the object of the remote login.

    Thanks for any help

It’s up to the user to perform system authentication if a login screen is displayed.

As for the disabling of permission request, navigate to the Show the server status on the NoMachine tray icon -> Server Preferences –> Security –> and uncheck option: “Require permission to let remote users connect”

I’ve found the required permission to let remote users connect.  Which allows me to login to different logins at the Linux login screen without requiring any acceptance . But it still requires a double login from the NoMachine username/password then renter the same username/password at the linux screen.  I’ve used version 3 in the past where I just logged straight into the linux machine with one username/password.

    Thanks

Yes, with virtual Linux desktop which is available in Workstation. You can find it here: https://www.nomachine.com/download/linux&id=13
