The remote is on Ventura and mine is on Monterey.

    Both are running NoMa 8.4.2.

    File transfer works fine.

Is there something I’m missing to accomplish drag and drop instead or isn’t d&d available at this time between 2 Macs?

When I try to drag from the remote, the mouse/drag stops at the screen edge, whether I have mouse enabled or not.

Hi. Can you confirm the drop on the window correctly transfers the file to the server? If it is so, and the problem is only occurring when you drag a file out to download it, please try to use all four sides of the client window, and try also to slowly cross the window border. We’re running some tests in our labs, results of your tests would be helpful too. Thanks.

    I can drag in, NP.

But from the Remote, not at all, no matter which border or how slow I go.

Also, not connected and perhaps I already suggested.

A keyboard short cut for grabbing the mouse and one for grabbing both the keyboard and the mouse.

related to the previous suggestion.  Cntl/opt/0 to toggle the connected menu.

I tried the d&d from the remote again.

It does work, but sometimes it shows the d&d status (it appears on the client as you cross the border) as it happens, sometimes it doesn’t.

Doesn’t seem related to what kind of file or the file size.

FYI.  files, NP.  Folders don’t go in either direction.

Fritz, dragging folders is not supported. You can drag single and multiple files and they will be dropped on to the desktop.
