ECS to ED with 2 different users

Hi,

* Step 1:

With standard authentication setting (I think!), I get a strange thing when I connect to ECS with User_A and try to connect to ED with User_B.

An error message is displayed saying I can’t use different user accounts and I’m back to ECS login.

* Step 2:

Then, if I connect to ECS with User_A and try to login to ED with User_A, I get the screen suggesting to send a message to ask permission to share the desktop with an already connected user !

And I guess this user is… User_B, connected although the error message I got at step 1 !!!

Is it a normal behaviour ? Can you reproduce it ?

It’s a blocking situation except if someone can access the physical machine !

I found this solution:

$ sudo /etc/NX/nxserver –nodeedit UUID –further-auth-required yes

I think “yes” should be the default value.

In version 9, ‘yes’ will become the new default 🙂
