All machines are using the free version of NoMachine. We have a server on our network at work that’s on Sindows Server 2008 r2. Connecting from this machine to my personal workstation on the same intranet at work or vice versa results in incredible input lag (several seconds delay after mouseclicks or typing, very slow mouse tracking on movement, and incredibly slow redraws when opening programs). Connecting from the server to a third machine is fine, as is connecting from my personal workstation to the third machine. I’ve already tried disabling “use acceleration for display processing” and “use UDP for multimedia” settings, with no change in performance evidenced. I’ve attached the results of the “Take the Statistics” command from the connection tab of the NoMachine menu, but have no yet collected logs. The entire network is cat5e or cat6 and covers quite small distances (I’m just down the hallway from the server) so there shouldn’t be a network speed problem.
