First connection good, log off hung, no longer able to connect

I set up NoMachine NX server on Ubuntu 14.04. I installed NoMachine client on Windows 7. I connected to Ubuntu no problem. When I tried to log off of Ubuntu via Ubuntu logoff options, Ubuntu hung after desktop icons vanished, but desktop remained and NoMachine client seemed to hang, so I force quit NoMachine client. Now, I can no longer log in to Ubuntu server with NoMachine; I get Error is 138: Connection timed out.

Logs (compressed /usr/NX/var/log and /var/log directories) would be useful. Please follow the instructions here on how to enable and extract them: https://www.nomachine.com/AR07K00677.
